#MyHeroes: She opened the Mixed Bag for me!

If you find a #spacesnhanced captioned under a tastefully decorated room photograph, be assured Swapna Tayade Talkar , an interior designer has worked her magic again. So this 27 year old fun loving, explorer, independent, social, travel junkie and all the extrovert qualities put together loves to live life moment by moment and is in no rush. 

On a Saturday afternoon, when I asked Swapna about her goals and dreams she took a trip down the memory lane and remembered her favorite dream of traveling abroad, staying in a pg, making food and managing things on her own.  All this would have been possible three and a half years back but destiny had something else in store for her. The travelling abroad part took a back seat as she was getting ready to play a new role in her life. The pg with strangers dream turned out to be moving into the in laws place with the permanent roommate Vishal. For someone like her who believes in whatever happens, happens for good getting married early was not a big deal as today when she talks about her husband supportive of her dreams, passion and ambitions she has a twinkle in her eyes.

Swapna always wanted to do something in the luxury and royalty space. She earlier worked for Singapore airlines but later on when the airline industry was in a doom, she decided to move on.  Her dad being a civil engineer suggested interior designing as an option; Swapna considered it and began freelancing as an interior designer. With 6 years experience in her kitty, she is now working with Pepperfry as a consultant to widen her exposure and networking in her field.  While she is busy gaining the best experience at Pepperfry , the blueprint of her personal label is also in the process.  She wishes to travel the world and leave her impression in many more spaces in the years to come. 

“I am proud of myself. I am doing what I like and just following my dreams”, says the confident Swapna who thinks her husband has a vital role to play in the journey of her dreams.  She may be too busy working on her dreams but she is also a devoted wife. She feels marriage is important and getting married early has strengthened the bond between her and her husband. She is emotional but also a strong headed woman loved by her family and friends who call her a ‘clean soul’. 

She wears a positive vibe as the #OOTD, keeps the smile going as the #MOTD, works hard to breathe life into spaces as part of her #workdiaries and ensures to be madly in love with her husband as #happyus.

Mrs. Swapna Tayade Talkar is a woman who makes me believe in a fairytale where the Princess is always wearing a crown in pride and lives her life on her own terms.
